Igor Terekhov took part in a prayer service for peace in Ukraine

Mayor Igor Terekhov took part in a prayer service on the occasion of the National Day of Prayer and the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, which was held at the Church of St. John the Theologian.

The event was also attended by regional leaders, law enforcement officials, and clergy. Those present joined in a common prayer for peace in Ukraine and for those who died as a result of Russian aggression.

"Today we pray for our defenders, that God will give them strength to fight. We pray that they will return to their families and homes alive and well as soon as possible. We ask for the long-awaited just peace - not for a week, not for a year or two, but forever, with reliable security guarantees and confidence that this will never happen again. We pray that our country will survive, remain independent and flourish. And may God help Ukraine, may God help each of us," said Ihor Terekhov.
