Igor Terekhov: The number of cultural events should be increased!

The mayor thanked the teachers who continue to teach despite the challenges of wartime. He stressed that Kharkiv has always been an educational centre thanks to its leading universities. 

‘All Kharkiv residents are under stress because of the war. Therefore, our main task is to relieve their emotional state so that people feel more or less calm as much as possible. To do this, we need to increase the number of cultural events held in Kharkiv. Citizens respond favourably to exhibitions and concerts. In addition, it is important to use the possibilities of shelters, the subway, and the underground school. Various events can be organised there and citizens can be involved in cultural processes to relieve their psycho-emotional state,’ said Igor Terekhov. 

After the rector's council, the participants visited an art exhibition featuring artworks by teachers from various Kharkiv universities.
