Children of Kharkiv utility workers to have a rest in Odesa

In July, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov and Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov agreed to implement this initiative. The decision was supported by the deputies of the Odesa City Council.

According to the Department for Family, Youth and Sports, 99 children went to the camp and will stay there for 10 days. By the end of August, two more shifts of Kharkiv residents are to be sent to the camp off the coast of Odesa.

«Kharkiv residents are going through difficult times. Children are particularly vulnerable to stress. Therefore, our main goal is to give them good emotions and distract them from the realities of war», - the department said.
