The results of the last academic year were summed up in Kharkiv

‘Kharkiv's secondary education institutions have accepted more than 2.7 thousand displaced children. We have set up ‘points of invincibility’ in 65 schools, which were visited by over a hundred thousand citizens during the blackouts. In addition, 38 school-based hot food distribution centres receive about 40,000 people every day. Almost 5,000 IDPs live in the dormitories of universities and vocational schools,’ said Olga Demenko. 

She also noted that 149 Kharkiv graduates received 170 top results in the national multi-subject test. Kharkiv graduates won 31 prizes in the All-Ukrainian competition of the Small Academy of Sciences. This is 91% of the total number of victories in Kharkiv region. Only city teams represented the region at national tournaments, winning 21 times.
