400 children signed up to metro kindergarten 07 December 2023
In the kindergarten, which will be located in the premises of Kharkiv Metro stations, 400 children have already been signed up.
This was announced today, 7 December, on the broadcast of the national telemarathon by the Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov.
According to him, classes for preschoolers will start in January and will be held every Saturday in two shifts: from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00.
"First there was Covid, now there's war. But we need to socialize children, to fully prepare them for school. In this short time, when we made such an announcement, 400 children have already signed up in the metro kindergarten this is 15% of all children who will then go to the first grade in Kharkiv schools", - said Ihor Terekhov.
We would like to remind that the decision to organize an educational process for older pre-school children in the metro was supported by the Executive Committee of the City Council.
The kindergarten will function at Universitet, Peremoha, Akademika Pavlova, Metrobudivnykiv and Traktornyi zavod metro stations.
