Children from Kharkiv received gadgets for learning

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), has handed over 501 gadgets to children living in Kharkiv.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov held a working meeting with Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi and UNICEF Representative in Ukraine Munir Mammadzade. They visited the Kharkiv metroschool and talked to schoolchildren.
The guests personally handed over laptops to 15 children. Among them are six students whose homes were burnt down on 9 February during an enemy drone attack on the private sector in the Nemyshlyanskyi district.
Igor Terekhov thanked all those who work and teach children despite the difficulties of wartime.
«I would also like to express my gratitude to our little schoolchildren who are studying despite everything. We will do everything possible, and sometimes even impossible, to provide you with a quality education», - said the mayor.
Earlier, children from privileged categories have already received 1.5 thousand laptops. However, there is still a need for more than 2,000 gadgets to meet the educational needs of these children.
