UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine visits Kharkiv

Denise Brown expressed her condolences to the families of Kharkiv residents who suffered as a result of the terrorist attack.

"This is a complete violation of international humanitarian law. The people who were in that hypermarket yesterday had nothing to do with the war. We need to protect the civilian population of Ukraine," said Denise Brown and assured of further humanitarian support for the city's residents.

In his turn, Igor Terekhov emphasized that only the most advanced air defense systems can protect Kharkiv from similar terrorist attacks by Russia.

"The most important thing is to close the sky over Kharkiv. If we don't have the most modern air defense system, such tragedies will happen again. I hope that Denise Brown will convey to all our international partners that Kharkiv needs to be protected," emphasized Igor Terekhov.
