Kharkiv establishes relations with the Catalan business association

Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov signed a cooperation agreement with the President of the Association of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Catalonia, Antoni Cañete.

During the working meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation between Ukrainian and Spanish businesses. They stressed the importance of establishing strong economic ties with international partners for Kharkiv.

Igor Terekhov thanked the people of Spain for their humanitarian, financial and military support.

‘This agreement is the engine of our cooperation and business development in Ukraine. There are still many steps ahead to rebuild, expand international relations and bring Ukraine into the European community,’ said Igor Terekhov.

In turn, Antoni Cañete stressed that the Association is focused on the development of small and medium-sized businesses not only in Spain but also throughout Europe.

‘We must be aware - not only Ukrainians but also Europeans - that this is our common war against the aggressor. Ukraine plays a very important role in the supply of agricultural products and in the technology sector. We see how much you care about Kharkiv and are ready to help rebuild its infrastructure. The West needs to wake up, because Ukrainians are fighting for the future for all of us,’ said Anthony Kanye.
