The European Bank will support the construction of municipal housing in Kharkiv

Today, on June 10, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov discussed cooperation in the construction of municipal housing with the European Investment Bank.
During a meeting in Berlin, on the eve of the International Conference on Ukraine's Recovery, the mayor of Kharkiv addressed the bank's representatives with a financing request.
«I would really like you, as a leading bank that helps Ukraine, to look at how we can jointly finance this program. We are allocating funds from the city budget, but we want to use credit resources for municipal housing as well», - the mayor said.
Grzegorz Gajda, a representative of the bank responsible for housing projects, emphasized that the EIB is ready to finance many projects related to municipal housing in Ukrainian cities.
«We see an opportunity to provide a loan for the construction of such housing, which will then be rented out. This work is still ongoing, but in general, our goal is to launch such financing throughout Ukraine», - said Grzegorz Gajda.
