Igor Terekhov addressed the twin cities

Today, on June 26, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov addressed the twin cities of Kharkiv to express his gratitude for their assistance and called for all possible mechanisms to be used to stop the attacks of Russian troops on the city and the region.
According to him, as of today, Kharkiv has 32 twin cities. They have been providing substantial assistance since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. On behalf of all Kharkiv residents, the mayor thanked the leaders and residents of the partner cities.
«We really want to restore full-fledged ties with you, but the difficult and dangerous situation prevents us from doing so. Every day Kharkiv is subjected to rocket and air strikes by the Russian occupation forces, civilians are killed, kindergartens, schools, universities, architectural monuments, municipal facilities, and enterprises are destroyed. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the air alert in Kharkiv has lasted for more than 172 days in a row, 16 hours a day. I ask to use all possible mechanisms to stop the strikes of Russian troops on Kharkiv and Kharkiv region to stop the destruction of civilians and civilian infrastructure», - said Igor Terekhov.
