Ihor Terekhov met with representatives of the International Organisation for Migration

Today, on 6 March, Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov met with representatives of the International Organisation for Migration, who are working with Kharkiv residents whose homes were damaged as a result of russian aggression.
Thanks to the support of the organisation, the restoration of damaged buildings in the central part of Kharkiv, as well as repairs of social institutions and hospitals, are underway.
During the meeting, Ihor Terekhov thanked IOM representatives for their assistance to the City.
"Our City is constantly under fire from the Russians, who are destroying civilian infrastructure, schools, kindergartens, hospitals. No other City in Ukraine has seen such destruction as Kharkiv. It is very important for people to feel that they are not abandoned, that they are cared for," said the Mayor.
In her turn, Alessia Schiavon, representative of the International Organisation for Migration in Ukraine, stressed the importance of working together with the City authorities.
"We are here to support Ukrainians in difficult times. Thank you for all the help that Kharkiv provides to our team. I have already seen the results of our joint work, and I am very proud of it," said Alessia Schiavon.
