On 13 August, Mayor Igor Terekhov met with the staff and board members of the Brenthurst Foundation.
As part of the working visit, representatives of the foundation presented the book ‘The Art of War and Peace’. The book is dedicated to the struggle of the world's peoples against autocratic regimes and is aimed at supporting Ukraine in its war against the Russian aggressor. According to the book's authors, Ukraine is defending not only its own sovereignty but also the democratic values of the entire civilised world.
The parties also discussed the challenges faced by Ukrainian society due to the Russian invasion, the development of projects aimed at restoring Kharkiv, and the country's needs during and after the war. Igor Terekhov thanked the international partners for their support.
‘Now we need to do everything possible to bring peace to Ukraine as soon as possible. We are doing a lot to restore everything that the aggressor has destroyed. And international support is very important for us in this. Ukrainians will accept a fair peace when all our territories are returned, because we have already paid the highest price for this,’ said Igor Terekhov.
