Kharkiv City Mayor Ihor Terekhov met with Israeli statesman and politician, Knesset Member Ze’ev Elkin.

The parties discussed the issues of providing assistance to the City now and in the post-war period. According to the Mayor, Ze’ev Elkin expressed his support for Kharkiv and Ukraine.

‘We discussed issues related to early warning, the military situation, assistance to the City, as well as many interesting topics that could be implemented in Kharkiv right now, such as psychological rehabilitation of children, training teachers for online education, and mobile bomb shelters,’ the Mayor summarized.

Earlier, members of the Israeli parliamentary group Ze’ev Elkin and Iulii Edelstein visited Kyiv where they met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the leadership of the Ministries of Defense, Foreign Affairs, the Verkhovna Rada, and leaders of the Jewish community.
