Igor Terekhov: Kharkiv residents are waiting for the sky to close

Ihor Terekhov emphasized the importance of transferring modern air defense systems to the city, given that Kharkiv's population today reaches 1.3 million people. 

“Kharkiv residents mostly stay in the city. They don't understand why they have to leave their homes and are waiting for help in closing the skies. This is the main thing. Besides, I believe that the priority task of all democratic states is to support Ukraine because we are defending common values. We cannot indulge our enemy, we must prevent any influence on the international community,” the mayor said. 

In his turn, Giovanni Kessler assured of Italy's full solidarity with the Ukrainian people and noted that every effort should be made to help Kharkiv survive. 

“Everyone should understand the importance of supporting Ukraine - in military, humanitarian and political aspects. And we are here to learn about your problems, the current situation and to help you in the future,” said Giovanni Kessler.
