Igor Terekhov met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine

Today, July 10, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Denise Brown in connection with the completion of her working mission.
The mayor thanked Denise Brown and her team for their cooperation and effective support of municipal initiatives, utilities, and Kharkiv residents during the war. He also noted that thanks to this partnership, city residents, including internally displaced persons, have received material and financial assistance over the past two years, and many damaged buildings in the city have been restored.
«Thank you to your entire team! First of all, for your humanity and attitude towards people. Every time Kharkiv suffered from the heaviest shelling, you were all here with us, at the arrival sites. I look forward to our further cooperation in restoring residential buildings and critical infrastructure», - said Igor Terekhov.
In her turn, Denise Brown briefly summarized the results of the UN team's work in Kharkiv and said that there are no plans to reduce the level of assistance to the city in the future.
«We have implemented many programs in Kharkiv. As representatives of the international community, it is very important for us to always be close to those who need help right here and now, it is important to personally visit the sites of the hits so that people can see and understand that the world cares about what is happening in Ukraine», - emphasized Denise Brown.
