Igor Terekhov discusses plans for the year with Kharkiv ambassadors

During the meeting, the mayor outlined the strategic directions of Kharkiv's development for the current year, thanked the ambassadors for their work, and stressed the importance of continuing joint activities for the restoration and development of the city.

According to Igor Terekhov, the main tasks of the ambassadors for this year are to establish contacts with potential investors, attract international humanitarian missions, and intensify work with Kharkiv residents who were forced to temporarily leave the city. 

‘We strive to create a favourable environment for investors in Kharkiv. We are already working on the creation of scientific and industrial parks that will become the foundation of the city's economic revival. We need international partners who believe in Kharkiv and its potential. This is where your role is extremely important. In addition, we want people to return to their hometown. And for this purpose, we are already rebuilding what was destroyed, creating comfortable conditions for living, working and studying. But we need our citizens abroad to know that they are welcome here, that we are working on a safe present and future for them and their children,’ the mayor stressed.

The honorary ambassadors of Kharkiv shared the results of their work over the past year and expressed their readiness to continue promoting the interests of the city in the international arena.
