Japanese partners help Kharkiv prepare for winter

Today, on June 11, Mayor Igor Terekhov held talks with representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Ukraine on providing urgent assistance to Kharkiv.

In particular, the parties discussed the transfer of energy equipment to the city, which is already being purchased at the expense of Japanese partners, as well as plans for future cooperation in the energy and heat supply sectors.

As of today, the Japan International Cooperation Agency has already handed over three boilers and pumps for CHP plants, more than 4 km of pipelines, 300 units of valves, as well as a large truck crane, a bulldozer, and three excavators to Kharkiv Heating Networks. In addition, JICA provided special equipment to Shlyakhrembud and other utilities that ensure the vital activity of Kharkiv.
