A photo exhibition about Kharkiv has opened in Baku

A photo exhibition dedicated to Kharkiv opened today, May 20, at the Ukrainian Center in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Gusev, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, and members of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan (the National Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan).
The exhibition features photographs depicting life in Kharkiv amid full-scale war. The photos show the aftermath of enemy shelling, the work of municipal services, the restoration of the city’s infrastructure, as well as the daily lives of Kharkiv residents who continue to live and work in this frontline city.
During the opening, Ihor Terekhov thanked the Azerbaijani people for their support of Ukraine and noted that the people of Kharkiv deeply appreciate this solidarity. The mayor also emphasized the importance of such projects, which help convey the truth about the war in Ukraine and demonstrate the resilience of the Ukrainian people.
“This exhibition is about the people who keep Kharkiv going every day. Despite the war, the city lives, works, and continues to fight for its future. It is important to us that the world sees not only the consequences of the destruction, but also the strength, unity, and resilience of the people of Kharkiv. We are grateful to Ukraine’s international partners and friends for their support and solidarity with our city,” said Ihor Terekhov.
