A concert dedicated to Bastille Day was held in Kharkiv

As part of the visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Gael Vessier and in honor of Bastille Day, a concert was organized in Kharkiv the day before.
The event was attended by Mayor Igor Terekhov. He thanked Gael Veyser for the decision to celebrate the French national holiday in Kharkiv.
«Our city today is a struggle for democracy around the world. I am convinced that we will always be a united European community, because we have a lot in common. We are grateful to the people of France for the support you provide to Ukraine», - the mayor emphasized.
In his turn, Gael Veyer noted that the idea to organize such a concert came up during a meeting with Igor Terekhov back in February this year.
«It is important for us to be in the Ukrainian citadel - the unbreakable and unconquered Kharkiv - on this day, when we celebrate the anniversary of the Bastille Day. And the resistance and courage of Ukrainians are deservedly admirable. The entire French people are convinced that we must continue to help Ukraine, despite any political uncertainties. This is the basis of our further work», - emphasized Gael Veyer.
