Kharkiv utility companies receive special equipment from partners

On 25 June, Kharkiv's utility companies received 16 units of special equipment.

The humanitarian aid was donated by Dutch partners RENEWI NEDERLAND B. V." and "BAS WORD" with the assistance of Oleg Kiyashko, CEO of Agroinvest Holding Starovirovka LLC. Thus, nine garbage trucks and seven trailers were received by Shlyakhrembud and the Household Waste Removal Complex.

According to Dmitry Lipovoy, Deputy Mayor and Director of the Department of Construction and Road Facilities, the vehicles will be used in the near future.

"This equipment will be used both for current needs, i.e. garbage collection, and for clearing debris at the sites of shelling. We are constantly accumulating a large amount of concrete, glass and bricks at the sites of 'arrivals'. That's why this equipment will be deployed tomorrow to carry out its tasks," said Dmitry Lipovoy.

Ilya Kalugin, Transport Director of Agroinvest Holding Starovirovka, said that this is the second batch of vehicles to be delivered to Kharkiv. The first one was delivered to the State Emergency Service last year.

"The head of our company is a Kharkiv resident. He cares about this city and its people. In general, the project became possible thanks to the cooperation of two Dutch companies with our Ukrainian one. I am sure that this equipment will be useful for Kharkiv," said Ilya Kalugin.
