Kharkiv City Council Adopts Appeal in Support of the President of Ukraine

The document states that Ukraine is fighting not only for its own independence but also for democratic values around the world.

‘We need unity both within the country and with our international partners and friends. Because Ukraine is now fighting not only for its survival. At the cost of the lives of thousands of our sons and daughters, we are fighting for the right of all mankind to be free from tyranny in a democratic world where the rights of every country and every person are respected,’ the statement reads.

The deputies stressed that only the unification of society around the interests of the state, the President and the Defence Forces of Ukraine will allow us to defeat the enemy and rebuild the country.
