Kharkiv residents can see a visualisation of the future reconstruction

On the website of the Department for Improvement, Restoration and Reconstruction, everyone can see visualisations of the restoration of buildings damaged by hostile shelling.

This was announced today, 8 April, by Mayor Ihor Terekhov on his social media.

The mayor noted that specialists of the Kharkiv Architectural and Design Centre and specialists of design organisations are working on the development of restoration concepts. Some of the visualisations have already been implemented, in particular, the houses at 60 Nataliia Uzhvii Street and 6 Metrobudivnykiv Street.

Igor Terekhov reminded that last year, a total of 71 high-rise buildings with serious damage were restored at the expense of the city budget.

‘Kharkiv is already restoring the destroyed, bringing the affected neighbourhoods back to life step by step. We see people returning to their homes, and we are doing everything in our power to ensure that each of them can cross the threshold of their apartments again,’ the mayor said.
