Kharkiv received more than 5 thousand evacuees from the combat zone

Kharkiv has provided shelter to over 5,000 evacuees from the border areas of the region where the Russian aggressor has intensified hostilities.

This was announced today, May 14, during a national telethon by Mayor Igor Terekhov.

"As of today, we have taken in more than five thousand people who evacuated from the areas of Kharkiv region where active hostilities are ongoing. We still have room to accommodate people. In addition, I held talks with the mayor of Odesa. If there are people willing, he agreed to accept and accommodate people in his city," said Igor Terekhov.

The mayor also said that today the Russian aggressor struck seven times in Kharkiv, all of them in residential areas.
