Enemy shells a shopping center in Kharkiv

This afternoon, on May 25, Russians launched two bomb attacks on a shopping center in the city of Kharkiv.

Mayor Igor Terekhov told a national TV marathon that a fire is burning at the site of the explosion. There is information about two dead and 35 wounded.

"According to the management of the shopping center, at the time of arrival, there were about 120 citizens in the building, as well as employees of the hypermarket, ten of whom are not in touch. Rescue operations are ongoing. There is no final number of dead and wounded yet," the mayor said.

Igor Terekhov urged Kharkiv residents to be careful, as the Russian Federation regularly shells the city.

"The enemy is waging real terror against Kharkiv and the whole of Ukraine. Today is a day off, people go shopping. Fortunately, some of the customers managed to leave the building during the air raid alarm," the mayor said.

The mayor also said that after the shelling of the shopping center, the enemy launched an air bomb at Central Park. Fortunately, it did not explode. The State Emergency Service is working to defuse it.
