Regulation on the Situation Center was approved in Kharkiv
The Executive Committee of the Kharkiv City Council today, April 17, approved the Regulation on the Situation Center of the City of Kharkiv.
According to the document, the Situation Center is a permanent working body of the City Council. It will provide round-the-clock operational interaction of emergency services with the services of the City, as well as notify the population about threats of a military, man-made, and natural nature.
Also, the Situation Center will facilitate the prompt response to emergency situations in cooperation with units of the National Police, the Emergency and Rescue Service of Civil Protection, the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance, the emergency gas service, etc.
Departments of monitoring and video surveillance, operational response, "Operational Coordination Center" will function in the Situation Center.
Organizational and logistical support of the Situation Center is provided by the Department of Emergency Situations.
