Veterans of the Second World War were commemorated in Kharkiv

Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov took part in the event.
 
According to him, this date is very important for Ukraine.
 
"Our defenders are now defending our land, as their grandfathers and great-grandfathers once defended the world from Nazism. And we remember and honor the heroes who died protecting our future. And today we stand for democracy and freedom," the Mayor said.
