The consequences of night shelling are being eliminated in Kharkiv
Communal services are eliminating the consequences of the recent shelling of Kharkiv by guided aerial bombs.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced on the air of the national telethon that on the evening of October 27, the enemy attacked the Shevchenkivskyi and Saltivskyi districts with anti-aircraft guns, as a result of which private and multi-story residential buildings, as well as the hotel building, were damaged. There were broken windows and damaged roofs. According to him, utility workers have already closed most of the circuits and are now restoring roofs in private houses.
Also, on the night of October 28, the enemy struck a residential high-rise building in Kholodnohirsky district. The mayor said that the KAB hit between the eighth and ninth floors of the building. As a result, five apartments were practically destroyed.
«Now communal services, employees of the State Emergency Service are sorting out the rubble at the place of the explosion. We are also working to restore communal services. This is a building with twelve entrances, and many people live in it», - the mayor said.
According to him, a total of 13 Kharkiv residents were injured as a result of enemy attacks. Two people are in hospitals, their condition is of moderate severity.
Places in dormitories were offered to all victims who needed it. To date, one person has used this offer.
