Youth Day is celebrated in Kharkiv

"Today, when Kharkiv is going through very difficult times, our young people are defending their homeland and doing everything possible to keep the city alive and working. You are the energy and the future of Kharkiv! I am sure that we will definitely win and rebuild our city together," said Igor Terekhov. 

On the occasion of the holiday, the mayor presented the young people with the Mayor's Acknowledgements. Among the awardees were public figures, teachers, rescuers, military personnel, doctors, etc. 

The event also featured an interactive stem exhibition and a VR zone where one could learn about experimental scientific developments of the city's universities. In addition, a raffle was held to win gifts from the Department for Family and Youth.
