A number of streets are proposed to be renamed in Kharkiv

A public discussion on renaming 208 place names is being held in Kharkiv until 25 April.
Kharkiv citizens are offered to rename a number of streets whose names are associated with the aggressor country. Among the proposals: Aeroflotska Street should be renamed Antonova Street, Bakunin Street should be changed to Bahata Street, and Vasnetsova Street should be renamed Vsevolod Nestayko Street. It is also proposed to rename Nevelskyi Lane to Kapytolivskyi Lane, Sibirskyi Lane to Barbarisovyi Lane, and Suvorov's entrance to Portretnyi Lane.
In addition, it is proposed to rename Sibirska Street to Poliska Street, Peshkova Street to Taras Redkin Street (in honour of the Ukrainian soldier who died in action), Muravyova Street to Anyutynska Street, and Kaluzka Street to Norvеzka Street.
