A festival of professions was held in Kharkiv
The first Prof-Fest festival of professions during the war took place in Kharkiv today, 28 March, in a shelter of an educational institution.
Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov took part in the event. He noted that the demand for working professions has increased significantly due to the war. According to the Mayor, Kharkiv needs even more skilled professionals - builders, electricians, and locksmiths to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure, roads, communications, and housing.
"It is very important to hold such events as this one so that our children choose a profession where they can realise their potential. And today, when the enemy destroys our infrastructure, energy and residential areas every day, I really want our people to rebuild it all and make it better than it was. I am confident that they will do so," the Mayor stressed.
Ihor Terekhov also presented the Mayor's Commendations to the staff of the City's vocational education institutions.
