Flowers laid at the Memorial of Glory in Kharkiv

The event was attended by Mayor Igor Terekhov, deputy mayors and heads of district administrations. 

According to the mayor, 23 August is a very important date for Kharkiv and its residents. 

«When we fight Russian aggression, we continue the tradition of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers. We are doing everything to be a truly independent nation. That is why today, during the celebrations, we will once again remember the exploits of previous generations», - said Igor Terekhov.
