Kharkiv provides shelter to evacuees from the war zone.

Today, on May 12, during a national telethon, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to the intensified shelling are being provided with everything they need. 
 
“The vast majority of evacuees stay in Kharkiv. We offer them accommodation in hostels, and a lot of people take advantage of this offer. We provide them with food, hygiene products and other basic necessities,” said Ihor Terekhov. 
 
 
The Mayor also said that the explosions heard in Kharkiv today were the result of the work of the air defense forces.
