On Easter, the russians shelled Kharkiv

Despite the Easter holidays, the russian aggressor today, 05 May, shelled residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov told reporters that three guided aerial bomb strikes were recorded. High-rise residential buildings and private houses were damaged.

"The enemy is cynically destroying the lives of Kharkiv residents. There are wounded civilians, the National Police and the State Emergency Service continue to inspect the buildings. We have very serious destruction. There was no military facility there," the Mayor said.

Ihor Terekhov added that already today experts will begin closing the circuits, repairing damaged roofs, and restoring water, gas, and electricity supplies. If necessary, residents will be accommodated in dormitories.
