Utilities are being restored in a building in the centre of Kharkiv that was damaged by russian shelling the day before.

This was announced today, January 30, on the site of the accident by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

According to him, the rubble is being cleared and an expert assessment of the damage is being conducted. The entrance, which was hit by a rocket, will need to be dismantled and rebuilt while the rest are already being repaired by utility workers. Heat and water supply will be restored there. Electricity and gas are expected to be restored by the end of the day, or by tomorrow at the latest.

A woman was killed in the shelling and three other people were injured. Ihor Terekhov noted that the family of the deceased will be provided with all the necessary support.
