Plast members bring the Light of Bethlehem to Kharkiv

Today, on 19 December, representatives of the National Scout Organisation Plast handed over the Peace Light of Bethlehem to Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov.
The young scouts told about the history of the Bethlehem Fire and its symbolic meaning as a messenger of peace, love and unity.
Igor Terekhov thanked the scouts for their important mission.
«This has already become a good tradition for all of us. I congratulate you on the upcoming holidays and sincerely believe that peace will come, and we will meet in the future in completely different conditions. God bless you!» - said the mayor.
