City Council extends tax breaks for Kharkiv residents

According to the decision, the local tax exemptions for individuals, legal entities and entrepreneurs are extended for the second half of 2024. 

As a reminder, starting from 1 April 2024, the tax liability after the calculation of rent for municipally owned land plots was cancelled. The land tax rate for plots owned by individuals and legal entities is 0% of their normative monetary value. 

The tax rate on real estate (unless it is a land plot owned by legal entities) was also set at 0%. In addition, single tax payers of the fourth group were granted a 100% reduction in tax liabilities.

‘Yes, we are suffering losses, but today it is very important to support business so that entrepreneurs stay in Kharkiv and create jobs,’ said Mayor Igor Terekhov.
