Memorial plaque to fallen medic unveiled in Kharkiv

‘We are unveiling a plaque to our hero. He didn't live as long as we would have liked, but his life was very eventful. Vladislav was passionate about his profession. As soon as the war broke out, he went to serve and saved people's lives to the last. We must and will remember him and all those who died for Ukraine,’ the mayor said. 

Reference. Vladyslav Titarenko studied at Kharkiv Gymnasium No. 172 and graduated from Kharkiv National Medical University. Since 2021, he has been working as a surgeon at the City Clinical Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 25. At the beginning of the full-scale war, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he headed the surgical team.

He was killed in the village of Kruhlyakivka, Kupiansk district. By a Presidential Decree, he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine and the Order of the Golden Star (posthumously).
