Utilities have closed 80% of the circuits of damaged houses

The contours of the buildings that were damaged as a result of hostile attacks on 27-28 March have been closed by 80%.

This was reported to journalists by Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

According to him, more than 1,000 windows were smashed in Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts as a result of the latest hostile attacks. In particular, 19 residential buildings, a children's clinic, an office building, and a catering facility were damaged.

"So far, 80% of the circuits have been closed. Utilities are also repairing roofs that are leaking. By the evening, we need to connect the power supply, supply water and gas to the houses. There are some difficulties with this, we are currently inspecting all ventilation ducts and chimneys," said the Mayor.

According to him, the City is provided with materials to eliminate the consequences of hostile shelling.

"The President's Office is helping us. We also attract funds from the city budget. We have balanced the budget so that we have enough money to purchase these materials. We understand what challenges we will still face, so we have a certain reserve," said Ihor Terekhov.

The Mayor noted that the damage caused to Kharkiv by the russian aggressor has already reached more than USD 10 billion.
