Ihor Terekhov supported the draft law on local state administrations

The event, organised by the Office of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, was also attended by MPs, representatives of central executive authorities, oblast military administrations and oblast councils, local self-government bodies, all-Ukrainian associations of local self-government bodies, and experts.
 
During the hearings, Ihor Terekhov supported the adoption of draft law No. 4298, which provides for the renewal of the rights and functions of local state administrations.
 
"I am in favour of a clear vertical of power. This is necessary both now, during the war, and in the post-war period. At the same time, there should be a balance between the branches of government. But it is necessary that all powers be stipulated in detail. This law is important, and it needs to be adopted as soon as possible," Mayor of Kharkiv stressed.
