Ihor Terekhov: Kharkiv needs state-of-the-art air defense systems

This statement was made today, on February 24, by Mayor Ihor Terekhov during a national telethon.

"It is crucial for Kharkiv residents to return to the City, for businesses to operate, and for us to open schools and universities. Therefore, we urgently need state-of-the-art air defense systems that can intercept anything heading towards Kharkiv," -emphasized the Mayor.

He also noted that the City authorities, in collaboration with the military administration, have done everything possible to equip mobile units with the necessary tools to counter "drones." Last year, 135 million hryvnias were allocated for this purpose.
