Igor Terekhov addresses Kharkiv residents on the occasion of the end of the school year

A year ago, no one could even imagine that subway stations could become a place where children can study, learn about the world, communicate with their peers, and most importantly, be safe. But we have succeeded! 

 

That's why I am proud of every little Kharkiv citizen who starts his or her day with the desire for knowledge. I am inspired by the graduates who have faced many challenges in their school life, but this has only strengthened them on their way to their dreams.

 

I pay tribute to the teachers who, against all odds, maintain the high level of Kharkiv school, turning computer monitors into real classrooms. I am grateful to those who give children knowledge in radiation shelters.
