Ihor Terekhov: Kharkiv has always been, is, and will be a Ukrainian city

Being under regular enemy shelling, Kharkiv is constantly proving that it is a Ukrainian city.
This was stated by Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.
"We have already demonstrated to the whole world that Kharkiv residents are the Ukrainian nation. Sociological surveys show that 95% of the citizens are pro-Ukrainian," the Mayor said.
Ihor Terekhov also noted that Kharkiv continues to rename place names associated with the aggressor country.
"We have a certain rethinking of the Soviet era. The situation with renaming is complicated: someone accepts it, someone does not. But time must pass, and people will understand why it is being done. There is a law that we follow," the Mayor stressed.
In addition, he expressed confidence that the enemy will not be able to implement plans to capture Kharkiv.
"We don't care what they want. What matters is what we do to win. No one will ever give up Kharkiv!" - Ihor Terekhov emphasised.
