Igor Terekhov: Kharkiv needs the most modern air defense systems

"The main thing is to protect people's lives. We are counting on the help of our international partners, because only they have the necessary equipment. First of all, we need Petriots. We also need systems that will counteract the "Shahed" and S-300 missiles," said the mayor. 

Ihor Terekhov also emphasized that the supply of equipment does not depend on the city authorities. 

"If we had the opportunity to purchase these systems, no matter how much they cost, we would do it, because human life is the most important thing. But we, as the city authorities, cannot purchase this equipment," the mayor said.
