Igor Terekhov: Kharkiv is fighting for every investor

The city authorities are taking steps to attract entrepreneurs and investors to help rebuild Kharkiv.

This was announced by Mayor Igor Terekhov today, 5 February, at an extraordinary session of the City Council during the discussion of the decision to approve land management documentation. In particular, the issues of land allocation for the reconstruction of the pavilion in the Shevchenko Garden and the lease of a plot on Blahovishchenska Square for the construction of a hotel, residential and office centre were considered.

According to the mayor, the building designs will be approved jointly with the Norman Foster Foundation to ensure that the city's architectural ensemble looks harmonious.

‘Today we are fighting for every enterprise, for every investor to stay in Kharkiv. We need to attract investments to develop the city and create new jobs. At the same time, we will not allow the construction of inadequate facilities, because we care about the appearance of our city,’ said Igor Terekhov.
