Igor Terekhov spoke about the progress of winter preparations

"There are certain difficulties with the manufacture of these cogeneration units (because they are foreign-made), and it takes some time. But we will accelerate on this path. We are working around the clock, I deal with this issue every day, because it is impossible to implement this project at the expense of the city budget alone, we need multi-vector financing. We already have agreements in this regard, a certain procedure has been carried out with USAID as our strategic partner, and the World Bank has just donated USD 47 million to us," said the mayor. 

According to Igor Terekhov, gas will be the main fuel for Kharkiv, and diesel generators will be a backup.
