Ihor Terekhov congratulated Kharkiv citizens on Christmas

Today, on January 7, Kharkiv Mayor Ighor Terekhov congratulated Kharkiv residents on the upcoming Christmas.
On the occasion of the holiday, the Mayor visited the Church of the Holy Martyr Alexander, Archbishop of Kharkiv, the Alexander Nevsky Church, the parish of St Nicholas, and the Church of St John the Apostle.
Ihor Terekhov congratulated the faithful on the birth of Christ and wished all Ukrainians a speedy victory.
‘Today we are praying for our Lord who protects our glorious City of Kharkiv and all of Ukraine. We pray for our heroes – the soldiers of the Armed Forces and the Territorial Defense Forces who are defending Ukraine, our nation, freedom, and the future of our children. We pray that our soldiers will return home alive as soon as possible. We pray that families separated by war will be reunited as soon as possible. Therefore, on the holiday of Christmas, I want to wish all of us peace, happiness, and that this war ends with our victory as soon as possible!’ the Mayor said.
