Igor Terekhov laid flowers at the monument to the defenders of Ukraine

Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov paid tribute to the memory of the fallen heroes by laying flowers at the Memorial to the Defenders of Ukraine.
The ceremony took place on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. The memorial event was also attended by the heads of the regional military administration, the regional council, and the heads of law enforcement agencies in the region.
‘We will always cherish the memory of our defenders, because it is thanks to them that we can live, work, have children and study in Kharkiv today. Independence is what the best sons and daughters of our country give their lives for. They deserve the highest respect and gratitude from all of us,’ said Igor Terekhov.
