Ihor Terekhov: We will be eliminating the consequences of the shelling all night

During a national telethon, Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov said that two of the attacks were in the City centre and three were in the Industrialnyi District.

According to him, civilian infrastructure facilities, including a hotel and residential buildings, were damaged. A total of 17 people were injured, including a foreign journalist; nine of them were hospitalised with injuries of varying severity.

"We are currently carrying out emergency repair work. We will work all night to ensure heat supply in the damaged residential buildings. There are many broken windows, doors and damaged roofs. All of these needs are to be repaired quickly so that people can celebrate the New Year in more or less normal conditions," said Ihor Terekhov.
