Ihor Terekhov: The Сity promptly responds to the military's requests
From the budget of the Kharkiv City Territorial community 484 million UAH were transferred to different units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023.
This was reported to journalists today, on 6 December, by the Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov. The Мayor stressed that the Сity authorities are not going to reduce the amount of assistance to the Ukrainian defenders, and there are funds for this in the budget for 2024.
"The amount of assistance depends on the specific request of the military unit. For example, today we transferred 500,000 UAH for our military because they needed to buy certain equipment very quickly. We had a conversation in the morning, and now the money has already been transferred," Ihor Terekhov said.
In addition to allocating funds, the Мayor stressed, the Сity helps the military with materials and, together with volunteers, provides mobile groups with the necessary equipment to destroy the "Shahed".
