Ihor Terekhov: City services are on high alert

All municipal life support services of the City of Kharkiv have been put on high alert and respond to emergency situations round the clock.

According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, temperatures are expected to reach minus 12 degrees at night on Christmas Day, and forecasters predict even lower temperatures afterwards.

‘The City has ‘invincibility points’ where people can warm up and charge their cell phones if necessary. You can find out which one is closest to your home using the Kharkiv Is Your Home chatbot @tviyDimKharkivBot. In addition to the ‘invincibility points,’ Kharkiv has heating stations. If necessary, the subway will also operate as a warming center. Hot food distribution points will operate as usual from Monday to Saturday inclusive. I am confident that together we will overcome this challenge,’ emphasized the Mayor of Kharkiv.
